Do you think the mentoring program at your school is effective to help prevent acts of violence? If yes please explain why and if no list programs that you believe will be helpful at your school.

    No I dont think that the mentoring program at my school is effective. There is still alot of fights and gang related activities that take place at my school. I think this school needs more programs to help students with violence.

    We need a mentoring program at my school to help these crazy students over come thier problems and issues that they have with each other. There needs to be a program there that helps with socialization and communication skills.

    Manassas really doesn't have a mentoring program here. That this school we have a behavior specailist that we can talk to other than that we dont have a certain program.

    A mentoring program would really help with the violence at this school. I believe that the students here do not know how to resolve issues with each other that they might have. often times we dont really have anyone to talk to that will listen to us. I would really like to see such a program at this school!

    Honestly I dont think that a mentoring program will work here. There are alot of students that are in gangs. The people at this school bring all of the problems that they have in thier neighborhoods and bring them to school. Fights are common here and everyone thinks that is hoew you are suppose to solve thier issues.

    Yes, I have a mentoring program at my school. This program helps students with all types of issues. Violence is not really a big issue at my school. However, I think that evry school needs a mentoring programs to teach students about right and wrong.

    Yes, I would agree this school would do well with a mentoring program. I believe that it will help out alot.

    I think that mentoring programs will help. Mentoring programs dont have to be just in schools they can also be out in the community. The community could offer mentoring programs to us. There are alot of gangs within the community that could really use a good mentor.

    I think the idle minds of most young people is the perfect breeding ground for violence. Our children need other things to occupy their minds. It brought me out of poverty.

    Yes the mentoring program at my school is effective. Because everybody seems to behave and peoble dont break the ryles very often. There has never been any serious trouble at the school either. I think we all growed up in a pretty decent and peaceful school environment, at least it seems to be the case for many of my fellow students.
